San Francisco Travel Book
For my Senior Capstone Project, I developed a 24 page book about places to visit within the city of San Francisco. The book is targeted towards people who have never visited the city before and it includes famous attractions such as the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island.
Aside from the famous attractions, the book features other locations that are equally as stunning. These locations range from beautiful gardens to exciting neighborhoods. I had an exciting opportunity to shoot at each of these locations over the course of several months. Aside from images, all text content and layout design was developed as a part of the process.
I selected red and green as the book’s primary colors. Red was selected to reflect the color of the Golden Gate Bridge, while green represents parks and gardens.
The Alcatraz Island section was the most exciting section to develop. It was my first time visiting the island and I had taken nearly a hundred photos. As a result, I had found it difficult to narrow down the original hundred photos to only a few.
