About Me
My name is Carolina Gray and I am a graphic designer with an interest in photography. Aside from my interest in design and photography, I enjoy skateboarding and learning new languages in my free time. I am 23 years old and I have recently graduated from Cal State East Bay in Hayward.
I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area my entire life. Despite living in one place, I have had the opportunity to travel often and see the world. I have been all across the country to many different states such as New York, Arizona, Colorado, and North Carolina. I have also been able to travel abroad to countries such as Mexico and Japan. I hope to travel to many more countries in the future and photograph my experiences along the way.
Artist Statement
I have been an artist my whole life. As a child, I began with doodles in all my notebooks and homework assignments. I still draw traditionally to this day, but in college I began to pursue design as a digital medium. I design with Adobe Creative Suite software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Indesign. This portfolio is a collection from my college work and shows my work with the Adobe products. I split my portfolio into 6 sections ranging from my photography to my logo designs. Out of all the sections, I am most proud of my Senior Capstone Project because it gave me an opportunity to combine designs with photography.
